DESCRIPTION:You are invited to this Quarterly event that is organized and hosted by Mayor Amir Omar. Once a quarter\, this event will be hosted at a site in one of four quadrants of our City. The goal is to give our residents a chance to be heard and to have a forum that facilitates open Q&A. Due to the Texas Open Meetings Act\, we will be doing these with no more than 3 members of the Council at any one time. To date\, Council Member Arefin Shamsul has confirmed that he will join. He represents Place 6 (which is at large) but he does live in Place 1. I will update this invite with any other member that confirms being able to join the Mayor to field your questions and hear your ideas\, thoughts or suggestions on how to continue to make Richardson a wonderful place to live and invest in.
